Telepsychiatry lets you receive high-quality care from wherever you feel most comfortable — no commute, no waiting room. With a little preparation, a virtual visit can feel just as connected and personal as meeting in person.
Set up your space
- Choose a private, quiet spot where you won't be interrupted.
- Test your camera, microphone, and internet connection beforehand.
- Have a charger handy and close other apps to keep things smooth.
- Keep water and any notes or medications nearby.
During the visit
Speak openly, just as you would in person. If the connection drops or you didn't catch something, it's completely fine to ask your provider to repeat or slow down.
A note on privacy
Visits are conducted over a secure, confidential platform. If you ever feel you need a more private setting, let us know — we'll work with you to make care comfortable.
Telepsychiatry is available to patients located anywhere in Texas. Reach out to find a time that works for you.
